The Membership Program is your college's opportunity to join MATEC in its effort to enhance the quality of Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology programs and to create close connections through a network of educational institutions, faculty, and administrators.

Membership is open to any education institution that offers, or is planning to offer, a program in Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology or Electronics.

There are three distinct levels of partnership:

MATEC Academic Member

Members and Affiliates will be recognized by both educators and industry alike for their leadership and commitment to strong Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology programs.

Members and Affiliates will have the opportunity to strengthen ties to other educational institutions as well as industry by participation in the Leadership Forum or Regional Affiliate meetings.

Shape the Future of SMT Education

As a part of the MATEC Academic Membership Program, your college will help shape the future direction of MATEC, provide strategic guidance for the Center, and be a driving force in the development of new and relevant materials and programs.

$5,000 first year ($2,500 to renew each year thereafter)

1) Membership is limited to U.S. educational institutions.

2) The Dean or Head of Department must submit a letter, supported by an academic officer of the institution, to the committee outlining the program's qualities.

3) Submission of an application form which shows:

College has demonstrated a commitment to: creating a high quality curriculum and program that fully prepares students for work in the semiconductor manufacturing industry; supporting on-going faculty development and growth; continually improving and keeping current all aspects of the program, faculty training, and where possible, facilities. College makes a commitment to be a contributing partner with MATEC, and to be an agent for change in the educational community.

$2,000 first year ($1,000 to renew each year thereafter)

1) Affiliation is limited to U.S. educational institutions.

2) The Dean or Head of Department must submit a letter, supported by an academic officer of the institution, to the committee outlining the program's qualities.

3) Submission of an application form which shows:

College has demonstrated a commitment to: creating a high quality curriculum and program that fully prepares students for work in the semiconductor manufacturing industry; supporting on-going faculty development and growth; continually improving and keeping current all aspects of the program, faculty training, and where possible, facilities.

$3,000 first year ($2,000 to renew each year thereafter)
