ARE YOU TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE BEST WAY TO USE MULTIMEDIA IN YOUR MODULE DEVELOPMENT?

There is no need to look any further. The Maricopa Advanced Technology Education Center (MATEC) is now making available its Multimedia Design, Develop, and Deliver Workshop.

This workshop is designed to give participants an understanding of the role of multimedia in the curriculum development process, how to organize processes to work with curriculum developers, best-known methods to improve workflow from start to finish of a project, improve quality control of finished projects, and media/file management.

This is an exciting opportunity to share the experiences of John Olson (MATEC Manager of Multimedia Productions) who has participated in the development of 50 modules for use in education and industry.  Mr. Olson has a B.S. degree in Industrial Design from Arizona State University, over six years experience in information architecture and designed the 2nd revision of MATEC's electronic delivery system.

During this 7-hour workshop participants will learn about:

  • Developing and documenting the module process

  • Multimedia guidelines

  • Usability guidelines

  • Media management

  • Net tools

  • Quality control

  • "Web Chunking"

  • WebCT integration & E-Learning

  • Tech support

The all-inclusive cost of this workshop delivered at your site is $3,000 for up to 20 of your participants.
